  Booked a table for my 90 year old mother for mothers day. Always had good meals and excellent service here on previous visits but so disappointed today. Ordered a bottle of wine, wine glasses dirty so asked for replacements to be told there were no more. Two choices that my mother asked for were unavailable. My sister and I had cauliflower and cheese tart, green beans , jacket potatoe,. The beans were stone cold, my potatoe was black, the tart was lovely. We ordered dessert, two red velvet cake,fresh strawberries and cream, received the cake, no strawberries. Asked the waitress for the strawberries and were told they didn't have any, would we like raspberries. We said fine and were brought a bowl of tinned raspberries which were horrible! So disappointed with our visit, especially as it was for my and sister who had travelled from Devon to spend the day with us. Hope that future visits​ aren't so disappointing!

  My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for some time now and it never disappoints. The set up is lovely and not too big so you can be sure to get that personal service.
  The staff are lovely, always very friendly and talkative.
  Most importantly the food is fresh, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. We would go back for the salad bar alone.
  It's fast become our favourite restaurant in Cwmbran!

  Awful uncooked and overcooked food, a wait that can only be described as ridiculous. A medium rare steak that came out like it was in the heart of the Sun for a day, terrible.
  Oh plus they forgot our "extra sides.
  What a wonderful experience.
